After returning from China, ACU Grad Jonathan Jenkins set out to bring a new store to Abilene. He opened ZIDA, a store full of today's jewelry and fashion accessories. ZIDA, completely constructed and ran by ACU students, has been open a little over two weeks. The new store is looking to be a part of the ACU and Abilene community. By Shelby Coates
Today we visit the Eisenhower Presidential Library in Abilene Kansas and see the Mamie Eisenhower Gallery. His wife First Lady Mamie Eisenhower was a style icon of her day and we are going to take a look at some those historic vintage fashions. We get to see hats, her casual wear, formal gowns and even her wedding dress from 1916. Anyone interested in vintage fashion or fashions of U.S. Presidential First Ladies will love seeing these great pieces of fashion history.
